Tito’s Story

Tito is a senior rescue. He was found in early 2018 after months on the streets of Toa Alta, Puerto Rico. We assume he was abandoned in the wake of Hurricane Maria. He was skin and bones and found after being hit by a car. At the end of 2018 and after being nursed back to health, he was flown to NYC by Paws4Survival where he was fostered until he being officially adopted in the Spring of 2019. His adopters saw his profile shared on Instagram and instantly fell in love. They live in Ohio but made the drive into NYC to meet him. There was an instant connection! It took 13 hours to drive home from NYC to insure Tito's comfort and he laid with his head rested in his new mama's lap most of the way to his new forever home.
